Porsha R. Johnson is a litigator with significant experience handling personal injury, premises liability, civil rights and other matters from inception through trial and verdict. Ms. Johnson is heavily involved in a wide range of the firm’s matters, handling all aspects of litigation from discovery forward. Before joining Cornell Grace, P.C.,Ms. Johnson had served as a staff attorney with the New York City Law Department since 2008. In September 2011,Ms. Johnson was promoted to the Law Department’s Special Federal Litigation Division, where she defended the City of New York and its officials in complex civil rights litigation matters.
Ms. Johnson received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in 2004, and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, where she graduated Cum Laude. During her law school career, Ms. Johnson served as Executive Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
