New York City School Construction Authority June 29, 2017
Cornell Grace, P.C. is one of a select group of firms designated to represent the New York City School Construction Authority (“SCA”), the state-sanctioned builder/renovator of New York’s public schools, in construction-related accident cases. The representation is pursuant to SCA’s massive, one-of-a-kind OCIP insurance program. The firm was chosen based on its proven skill and creative approach to defending complex construction claims, particularly those presenting the risk of strict liability under Labor Law section 240(1). The firm has also been selected for the panel of counsel defending cases that involve the widely publicized “Hudson Yards” construction project in Manhattan.
